WinLED is an application that was designed to help users keep an eye on the hard drive activity in a simple manner. The application runs minimized in the system tray area and when disk activity is detected, it will blink to signal that.
WinLED uses color coding for the two types of activity, namely read and write. Thus, when the disk is accessed for writing purposes, the icon will become red, while for reading data, WinLED will blink green.
